Scarlet Macaw Guacamayas

With all the deforestation in the Lacandon jungle, it's not surprising that the scarlet macaw has flown away. But one community has made it their business to invite her back, placing hollowed wooden drums way up high in trees in which to nest. She's returned! And not only the macaws, but the eerie howler monkeys that will definately pee on you if you're below.

There my dad and Sabina are jumping off a rock. Across the river begins the biosphere reserve, wonderful in its protection of biodiversity and controversial in its treatment of indigenous people living there. Off, you pesky humans. There has been much forced displacement. Environmental giants like Conservation International, lie behind the displacement policies.

There iam making peace signs with my hand
